We are almost ready! Excited?

We are! It is almost time for our first post and blogosphere debut of our color inspired photos! Thought I'd take some time and share with you how we are planning (hoping) things will go! For the first two weeks we will have one post, on Sunday the 9th for the color Yellow Green and Sunday the 16th for the color Carnation Pink. This post will showcase each lady's color inspired photo as well as give the color for the next week, which you already know week two's color. We will also include a linky so you too can share your photo containing the current week's color.

Our weeks will be start on Monday and end on Sunday. Starting on week three we are hoping to have a daily post, where each lady will share her color inspired photo on her designated day. It is up to the author of the day if they want to share some tips, explain their photo, share some words or just keep it simple with a picture. So be sure to come back each day and check each lady's color inspired photo!

Starting week three we will share our take on the color of the week Monday through Saturday and each Sunday we hope you will share yours! Each Sunday we will open up a linky, giving you a chance you share your color inspired photos. We will also reveal the new color on Sundays!

We are super excited to already see a response to our blog and to see the list of followers grow! We look forward to sharing our work with you and seeing yours as well!

So a quick review, for the next two Sunday's it's all going to go down, our photo share, your photo share, and the new color revealed! Then Starting week three our photo shares will start daily Monday through Saturday and a linky will open Sunday for you to share your photo. Sunday will also be the revealing of the new color!

The start of something new!

Alright, this is the first post of our project! I'm excited to see where this journey will take us! I'm also super excited to see all the places we each find our color of the week!

A quick note about the project...We are calling this photographic journey Project64: Out of the Box. We are a group of 6 ladies (and our offical color picker, my hubby) planning on taking a 64 week journey through a box of crayons. We are hoping to take the crayons out of the box for a little inspiration in our photographic work! Each week will there will be an assigned color, chosen at random (by my hubby) from a box of 64 count crayola crayons. We will then take our color inspiration and search for it in the world around us! You'd be surprised in the colors you miss when your not looking! The goal of the project is to challenge us creatively, making us think outside the box, and to hopefully slow down a little bit and notice the world around us! Of course accomplishing a 64 week goal is fun too!
