Timberwolf {Shana}

The last few days have been just beautiful here in Oklahoma. I have been spending a lot of time outside reading, taking photos and playing on my computer. During one of these photo capturing session, Chester (mother in laws Collie) was a little curious and he nosed me until I was flat on my back and his nose in my camera. Perfect shot for this week!!

This is the photo I was trying to get when Chester came to take me over.

I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful Saturday morning!!

Timberwolf in the Tiles { Sheryl }

A few weeks ago, Brooke posted the link for the color codes of the Crayola Crayons for Photoshop.
I did an experiment.  I created a new document and filled it with the code color.  The above
color is Timberwolf.  I really didn't know that was the name of a color!
The above ruin is of the synagogue at Sardis.  One of the Seven Churches of Revelation.  This
is actually my favorite stop on our quest time find the Christians history that is so rich
here in Turkey.  This view is from the front entrance looking in to the alter.  (my family is
standing near the alter.)  Paul would have entered here when he taught in this
synagogue.  I was so amazed at how well preserved some of the tile work was I took
a lot of photos of them!
I can assure you that these tiles were not on a mesh backing!
Next week will be "guest" week -- I will miss you so I am going to post my entry on
my personal blog  thealteredpassport@blogspot.com -- I hope to see you there!

Thanks for stopping by --

Old Man New Toys { Natalie }

This was a fun post. As I was looking around the house I found these old cars that belonged to my Papa Andy. His sister gave these to him when he was a little boy. My Papa wanted each of his children to have something from his childhood. He gave these to my dad for Christmas a few years ago. I hope you have enjoyed reading some Hudson history. Have a great rest of the week!!!

Tumbleweed ------ Jeana

This is a photo of a drawing a student did for me. I wrote a strategic communications plan for the child nutrition director at our high school. When looking at it I realized it had tumbleweed in it!

I am looking forward to seeing the guest posts next week!

Jeana

I'm blaming the law for my lack of post! {Kendall}

Just wanted to post a quick apology for not posting yesterday. I am currently on jury duty and sitting around in the basement of our local courthouse. I haven't been bringing my computer so I don't have to carry the two miles from the parking lot! It's not really two miles, but feels like it in the heat.

Anyway, I think the floor here is close to Timberwolf...

Color Reveal Week 23 {Brooke}

Sorry everyone for the late post! I kind of lost track of time tending to family matters, my mom is going in for surgery tomorrow morning and I was helping get things ready! Well at first I had a hard time hunting this week's color, but then all of a sudden it turned up everywhere!

In my boys toys...

On my way back home from running errands...

In the driveway...

Sorry for the lack of a crayon picture, I thought I had already taken it's picture, but when I sat down to post all my finds, I guess I never did. So I paired a color swatch with one of my finds and put them into a diptych. The matched the color with the hex code found here.

Just one more thing, we are really excited to announce that next week we are going to have a week full of guest post! Make sure you tune in everyday next week to see each new guest and their color find!

Happy color hunting!
Brooke
