Sepia {Shana}

I didn't take this photo but I thought it fit well with the color! I can't tell you how many times Josh and I have been to Branson.

This is a silly photo of my husband! He is usually a very serious, let's get the job done, kind of guy. There are times when he comes out of that and is just plain funny! I also love that he doesn't read this blog sooo he will never know about this photo!!
I hope you all are having a fabulous weekend! I am spending my day reading and loving every minute of it!!

OOPS!!! (Jeana)

Totally just remembered I FORGOT to post on Wednesday!  It was my birthday and I was having too much fun I guess! I will try to post tomorrow....SORRY!

Sepia ( Sheryl )

Sepia

I will never forget the first time I saw a sepia toned photograph.  I couldn't believe that you could do something that cool to a photograph, on purpose!  So, my idea was to do a photograph of the ladies that are in my area.  We had lunch this past Monday and a waiter was happy to help me by pushing the trigger.
Somehow the digital equivalent for this effect of Sepia toning just isn't the same.  I had a vision of the photo looking somewhat cooler!
On Tuesday I went on a photo walk with the photography group associated with the International Women of Istanbul.  It was such a nice day being with other women who love to take photographs.  The above picture was actually spotted by my friend Joy.  A "Turtle Dove" watching us from the window sill.
I really do have a strange attraction for old doors.  This one is actually below street level and attached to abandoned house that seemed to large single dwelling house.  The area we were in is call Arnavutkoy where the population was largely Greek, until the 1950's when there was a cultural dispute and many left Istanbul.  This left many properties unkept and as a result dilapidated.  This was one of those circumstances, maybe.
This is one of the few totally wooden structures that survived a devastating fire in the village. Wooden buildings are protected by an ordinance that prohibits the changing of the exterior in anyway.  Replacement has to match exactly in size from the width of the plank to the size of the windows.  I thought the shutters on this building were a perfect match for our color this week.
I hope you have a great time on your search for Sepia -- I did!

Thanks for stopping by -- Sheryl

Sepia { Natalie }

Wow! What a week! we got back yesterday from our mini vacation to Oklahoma. I was really sad to leave my friends back home. I always miss them terribly! But on the bright side we are back at the beach :)

This is a picture I took on our trip to Asheville, NC. We went to see the Biltmore Estate and came across these horses. They're so beautiful! My favorite is the spotted one! I'll admit that I didn't find Sepia, so I decided to use this picture instead :)

Enjoy the rest of your week!

Sepia {Kendall}

I had to dig in my archives for this one!  But I think I found a picture with several good matches.

This is my Coco.  His name is Cole, but we call him Coco.  He's so sweet and loves chocolate!  I think his hair, his eyes, and the chocolate are pretty close matches to Sepia.

Hope you all are able to find your color with ease!  Happy color finding.

Color Reveal Week 37

It just seems like we are flying through these colors! Here we go with another week!

This little guy sits in our curio cabinet on the shelf dedicated to my hubby's Texas Longhorn memorabilia, I thought all the dark tones on his face and markings matched this week's color well.

Happy color hunting,
Brooke
