Forrest Green {Shana}

 I am in love with this photo. Who knew I could get such an incredible photo while moving in a vehicle? This was in the northern part of Yellowstone National Park. I really can't get tired of nature, it is an ever changing but constant part of our daily lives. I know I am guilty of just driving right by the beauty around me but I do find myself at times amazed by God's creation!

This little guy was on the side of the road watching a Ranger, who made us drive on past. So this was a drive by shooting! ;) hehe
Isn't he cute?!

Forrest Green ( Sheryl )

Forrest Green

I really am a "green" person.  I love greens of most shades.  I actually prefer the more saturated colors such as forrest green.  When I made the color swatch below, I really didn't think it gave an accurate representation of the color, what about ya'll?

 Last Tuesday a friend went with me on an adventure.  I wanted to try another Bosporus cruise.  I can hear the boats on the water passing by my house with loud speakers, giving an explanation of the sites along the shores.  We headed to Beşiktaş port looking for this cruise.  We didn't find it actually but we had a good time.  We bought one-way tickets to the North and got off in a village called Sariyer.
 Along the water was a place that looked good to eat (sometimes looks can be deceiving) and have some chi.  We ordered our food and there was "forrest green" -- salad comes on every plate and as you can see, even the pizza!
Last sunday, Terry and I ate along the Bosporus.  This is a view of the Second Bridge from my chair.  Everywhere you look in this city is a view of interest.  Even if you can't see the water you can always count on something interesting.

Thanks for stopping by -- Love, Love!  Sheryl

Forrest Green - Jeana

WOW...this week is flying by and I totally forgot what day it was! I was supposed to post yesterday! My husband is out of town and when he leaves I ALWAYS take on a home improvement project! This week I am painting ALL my trim in my house and putting in all new Interior Doors (11 of 'em!).  So....although I hate excuses.....I am going to use one this week!

Anyway here is another couple of pics from my last trip. Both pics have GREEN grass and trees, something poor ole Oklahoma is not seeing anymore! I thought after the record breaking Winter we would have a mild summer.....NOT! But soon enough we will talking about how cold it is!

This is one of my favorites that I took, it was just a perfect setting and position to catch the buffalo and the mountains behind it.

I love the Lone Tree in this one!

AND of course my posts wouldn't be complete without my grandson!
Have a great weekend and stay cool if you are in the HEAT ZONE!!!

Forest Green {Kendall}

I have loved having the summer off with my boys...but I will be ready for school to start so I can get back on track with lots of things, including my P64 posting!

Here are a few Forest Greens:

My crazy boys.  They were supposed to be helping me check the lighting at a photo shoot and they were being normal instead!  I really love this one.  Ha ha!

This is my youngest son and my best friend's new baby.  She has stolen my heart.

I have been making a lot of custom invitations in the last few weeks and this is one of them.  I thought the green matched pretty well.  John Deere is definitely not my thing, but I think I made it work!

Enrolled my baby in Pre-K today.  I don't know if I am ready for him to go.  But his school is only two hours and forty minutes, so I don't think it will be too traumatizing for either of us.  I will let you know after next Thursday!

Have a happy week!

Color Reveal, Week 31 {Brooke}

Well, most of my day was spent unpacking 2 weeks worth of clothes and items picked up from a handful of visits to target, antique shops and thrift stores. It is weird being away from home for so long and coming back, everything just stands still and is exactly the way you left it...luckily my house was clean when we left so I was only left to unpack the van. The only sign that we were gone was my poor shriveled plant, poor guy has been on the verge of dying more times than I can count and usually after my pleas and TLC he always came back the next day, this time I don't think he will be so lucky...Well all this unpacking almost made this week's color slip my mind, but being away for two weeks also means that my two little munchkins get to rediscover their toys that two weeks ago were starting to become boring. Well,wouldn't you know week 31's color was there,some forest green army men....
