Violet-Blue {Shana}

I am so ashamed that I missed my post last week!! :( As you all know my momma (Sheryl) is in town, we both missed cause we have been with each other every waking moment!! We were discussing the other day how we never thought we would be living in different countries!

 Anywho, I am going to switch gears here and go back to Josh and I's road trip.
I would say this was the highlight of our trip. I love history and I marvel at how people lived back in the day. Anything, from the pioneer era I am there!
 Red Diamond tea, water and a lens?

Violet -Blue ( Sheryl )

Violet-Blue
Oh, please forgive me for missing last week!  I almost always do my posts in advance and really thought I had, because I knew, I would be in AMERICA.  It's so busy for me when we come home for visits.  However, I do love to shop for the things I think I want and need.  I have been looking for a bag to put a camera bag style insert in -- something that didn't weigh anything alone with a zipper and a cross body strap.
This photo is very dark and you can't see the insert but it's in there.   (My camera is in my hand!)
It's a Kipling bag that I found at Macy's for 75% off!  I just love it and I can't wait to do some traveling with it!   To me it looked Blue-Violet but I don't know if I have a match.

I'll be back in Turkey next week -- See ya then!  Love, Love Sheryl

I'm So Blue, Looks Like My Beach Days Are Through (Natalie)

I'd like to congratulate Brooke for gaining a new nephew! He is precious!!
A few days ago my mom and I got up VERY early and went to the beach. Now, I am not a morning person but when mom said, " Hey let's go to the beach!" I was more than happy to get up. It was a beautiful day! Since hurricane Irene is on her way several people were surfing, boogie boarding, and swimming. I saw this surfer waiting for a wave. The perfect one never came so he left.
Irene is continuing to strengthen while heading my direction, so I would really appreciate y'alls prayers for not only my family, but also my friends and their families. I know God will protect all of us :) if the power is out, I will not be posting next week. Have a great week!!

Hey Blue!! (Jeana)

I must say I LOVE my event photo shoots. There is just something about capturing those moments that may never be seen again! I had a son that was an awesome baseball player and I fell in love with the sport...at least at the little league level! So whenever I get a chance to shoot a game I jump on it.
 Only problem with Baseball is that sometimes you cant get where you need to in order to get their faces!
Pitchers on the other hand are usually easy to get! I love to see the expressions on their faces as they throw the ball with all they got!

Have a great week!

B-L-U-E, I can spell BLUE, I can spell BLUE {Kendall}

School has begun!  Can you tell?  Cole, my four year old is LOVING it.  He can't wait to learn new things.  Kyler, my 9 year old, would rather do just about anything besides go to school.  Our days and nights are so fun during the school year.  Run here, run there, do homework, eat dinner, bathe, go to bed, wake up and do it all over again.  But I love it and have been fortunate to have spent the last few months home with the boys.  Sure does make me appreciate the two and a half hours I have while they are both gone!

Blue was so easy.  It seems like all of our other colors have been something funky and then we get plain 'ol blue.

I took my boys out for a photo shoot a few weeks ago and they were both wearing blue!  I just ordered prints of these two and can't wait to get them!

I hope you all have a good week as I know many are heading back to school soon.  My kids are really handling it well...I should have prepared myself more for it!

Happy Color Hunting!
Kendall

Week 34 color reveal {Brooke}

Hey everyone! Sorry this is up so late! It has been quite a crazy week, but quite fitting that this week's color is BLUE as our family added it's own little "blue" addition this past week! I am the proud Aunt to my newest little nephew!!! So this week has been super crazy trying to keep up with my editing for clients and watching my other nephew while his little brother made his appearance.

I've seen lots of shades of blue this week, not all matched exactly and I found a lot of color subjects that matched better, but unfortunately I didn't have my camera or just didn't have time to stop...so....

I found some blue during bath time with my boys...

and at the hospital while visiting our newest member of the family...of course you must bring a blue cup when visiting your new brother for the first time!!

and while not an exact match to this week's color, here is our little piece of blue that arrived this week...

I hope blue finds you in happy places this week and it does not take on it's dreary side this week!
