Pacific Blue {Shana}

Today my husband and I are getting things ready to pack for our move home. So in between cleaning, laundry and a head cold, I had to try to find the color of the week. I took several pictures of objects but just couldn't find the shot I wanted. Then I looked down at my camera strap and there it was.

I am actually posting this on my own! Thank you Brooke for helping me through the Blogger ban.

I am loving everyone's Magenta link ups... keep 'em coming!

Pacific Blue and a Room with a View! (Sheryl)

Yesterday while cleaning my "creative area" I looked out and was once again amazed at the place where I live.  Having the opportunity to have a Bosporus view from my desk is something I never dreamed of, frankly, never considered!  Living in Istanbul is a highlight of my life and even that is about to change. Change is always good -- even when it looks bad and even turns out to be hard.  I am looking to this change to refuel my own excitement and renew my creative spirit.

Thanks for stopping by---Love, Love!!

Pacific Blue - Jeana

I know my post was supposed to be yesterday, but....my son surprised me and let me have my grandson for a couple of days while he was at a conference and mom took a couple of days off for some much needed "rest"! So I was busy!!! But after looking at all the pics I took I realized that they were perfect because his new favorite toy is this BIG ball and it happened to be Pacific Blue!

Thank you for "letting" me share the love of my life with you!!!
Keep up the great posts!

Jeana

Pacific Blue { Natalie }

A few weeks ago my family took a trip to Raleigh for the weekend. We went to the two story mall and my sister bought this bow for her Shi Tzu puppy, Lulu. Have a great weekend everyone!

Pacific Blue {Kendall}

Whew!  It's midnight...so technically I am a day late now as the clock keeps ticking away.  I have been editing photos for the last few evenings and I get so caught up in them that I don't realize what time it is!

Here is my first photo and my original idea for my pacific blue:
I had so much fun shooting five prom couples this weekend.  If you are on Facebook, find me!  Kendall Johns Artography.  I just started my fan page this weekend.

And here is my second photo which just jumped out at me and I wanted to share it.  Last May, my husband's best friend passed away.  It has been an emotional year for all of us.  His birthday was April 18, so we got together with his family and friends and had a party celebrating the beautiful life that he shared with us for too short a time.  We let balloons go and this was one of my favorite pictures.

Keep posting your pictures.  They get better and better each week!  And I think the hunt gets more difficult each week...or is that just me feeling that way?!?

Week 16 Color Reveal

This week has been crazy...this day has been crazy! I spent 5+ hours on the phone with dell today, my crayons for this months color disappeared and the one I dug out of the boys color box rolled off my paper and fell under my porch before I could photograph it! Not to mention while I'm sitting here I discovered our resident armadillo has returned and now is tearing up our yard.  That was just today, my rest of my week was full of restoring my computer to factory settings, photo sessions, backing up files, editing, thunder storms, paperwork and mounds of laundry!!!!

So, this week I pulled one from the archives for this week's color! I took this during a photo shoot in downtown Tulsa, I love this location! I thought the blue "door" (I actually think it use to be a fountain) was perfect for pacific blue!

 A big Thank You to Kendall for providing the pics for this weeks color prompt photo, I sent a text to her tonight and she came through for me in pinch!

Happy color hunting!

Week 15, Magenta Linkup

All of the burnt sienna entries were great! I loved seeing a lot of you try your hand at diptychs! I also saw that some of you wanted to make one, but were unsure how to...a great place to edit pictures that offers collage capabilities and such is picnik.com, plus it's free! Picnik is one my favorite free editing websites, but you if you have another and would like to share it please post it in the comments.

Our favorite burnt sienna entry this week belongs to Karen at Random Reflections! Congrats!

I am really excited to see your  magenta pictures this week! I can't to see how many of you took on the added (but not required) challenge and used your iPhone cameras, phone cameras or point and shoots and embraced your creativity!

As always no fancy camera required and flickr linkups welcome! Please make sure to link back to project 64 by either providing a link or using our button that will bring readers to project 64 by clicking on it, thank you! Link ups close on Saturday Evenings!
