Plum {Shana}

The snow has found me once again, which has made my week slow and home bound. I have been unpacking, cooking, watching movies and playing in photoshop. The apartment we rented was fully furnished, which is where I found this beautiful vase.

I hope your search for White is fruitfull! Have a wonderful and blessed weekend.

This was just "PLUM" hard! {Sheryl}

I went on a tangent a couple of years ago of buying square scarves.  I have always loved scarves but they haven't always been in style.  Being home a week, I have realized that I am so fortunate to live in a city where color abounds.  Looking for "Plum" here was hard for me because everything seemed so usual and ordinary.  (Familiarity can stifle creativity!)  So, I have waited until the last day -- I hate when that happens.  I was digging for a scarf to wear and found this cute little square -- I think it turned out nice in the morning sunshine.
Don't forget to link up you "white" pix --

Don't forget to have a great time!  Thanks for coming by -- Sheryl

Plum { Natalie }

Hey Colorful people!
Plum was a fun color for me. I babysat today and while I was fixing the youngest a drink I saw this. I was pretty shocked how close it was to the color. Hope y'all have a great weekend!

Plum Crazy {Kendall}

Hello!  I think this is the first time I have posted in the morning!  Yay for me.  I have been cleaning and organizing my craft space for two days and am finally finished.  Another yay for me!

I have been wanting to play with textures for a few days because I haven't in a while, so I decided today would be that day.  I am going to show you the SOOC (straight-out-of-camera) shot first.  I know most of you do photo editing in Photoshop or other programs, but there may be some of you who haven't played with textures.  I want you to see what drama it can add to a photo.  And anyone who knows me, knows I love drama.

Blah, right?  Obviously it needs cropping.  I could have just cropped it and left it as it was, I mean, it wasn't horrible.  But it wasn't fun either.  I did a little brightening and then added an overlay.  I love brocade prints.  So this what I ended up with:

I like it.  I think it is light and fun.  And the texture/overlay, well it just completes it.  Hope you are having as much fun as we are with this journey.  It is a challenge each week to step outside the box we put ourselves in.  A challenge I am glad we are in together.

Don't forget to link up your white photos.  I have a favorite, do you?

Going plum crazy,
Kendall

Week 10, Color Reveal {Brooke}

Sorry to make you wait all day for this week’s color reveal! I had a photo shoot this morning and lots of errands this morning and my boys were a handful during our public outings...they weren't bad, but man they wore me out! Not to mention I couldn't find this week's color ANYWHERE, until I opened my curtains to water my often neglected house plant. I forgot the bottom of his leaves sported this week’s color!

Plum!

This is another one of those colors you are going to have to get out and color with to get the feel for its actual color, the paper is deceiving and the actual crayon is a little darker than the shade it colors on paper.

Not my best work a little rushed, but there you go, my plum find for this week! Oh and here is a little sneak of my shoot this morning, there are a few more on my FB page if you want to take a look!

Happy color hunting,
Brooke

White Linkup {week 9} and Vote

Well, lavender that was in our box of crayons was not soft dusty purple color that comes to mind when the word lavender is uttered. However, it didn't seem to hold you all back at all! Once again some amazing pictures!!!

This week's favorite comes from The Wandering Rotters, we thought it was a very unique take on lavender and very outside of the box! It also has that pinkish purple quality that our lavender from the box has. Congratulations!

This week we also had a catch up day for the newbies to Project 64 who wanted to go back and do the past colors. We also had some who have been with Project 64 from the beginning share their work in review, so if you have time be sure to visit everyone's links...I will keep the catch up day link open for a few more weeks, so if you are new and want to go back and show us your interpretations for our past colors feel free to link up your collection there! It is also ok to just join us on whatever color we are on, its not required to start from the beginning, we are happy to have play along every week, every two weeks or just once, so be sure to spread the word and have fun!!!
