Wisteria {Shana}

I AM SO SORRY!! I just realized that it was at the end of the day and I hadn't posted. I was just going along with my day, unpacking, laundry, painting my nails and other Saturday things. My husband and I just got home from our wonderful trip last night. I can say that this was one trip I was sad to come home. We ended up going through Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska and Missouri. We had such a great time together.
I promise, this was wisteria when I took the photo!!

This is my hubby on our hike, eating Cheesitz. Honey, you may attrack bears!!

This is me trying to talk my husband through taking a photo! It was quite comical. We had a great time.
I hope to share more photos with you in later posts. I hope you all are having a safe and cool weekend.

Wisteria { Sheryl }

Wisteria

When I was a girl, I was very fortunate to have a mom who was a gardener.  The very thought of the color "wisteria" not only brought back vivid memories of this beautiful flower but the fragrance it exuded.  It always seemed that the bees really liked it too!  I said all that to say that I chose not to shoot any wisteria flowers, they are everywhere here growing tall and covering arbors.
This is a very common sight here.  The salons and barber shops wash their towels and hang them in the sun to dry.  Right on the sidewalk!  This salon happens to be in SultanAhmet.
This plate is a style of art that was used to depict important events.  I am not sure how close the color is but I did think it was pretty neat.  I am not sure what the egg thing is -- just to hold part of the story I guess.
Well, I can't say I did great this time but I do know that I am having fun!

Thanks for stopping by -- Sheryl

Wisteria (Natalie)

Well I could either take a picture of a flower like Jeana and Kendall OR get a little crafty and play around with some lighting. I was changing my lens and noticed that when the light about me hit the lens it made this glare. Low and behold it had a TINY bit of wisteria in it. I just thought this was cool because it looks like something created in Photo shop but it's not :) I hope you all have a great rest of the week!!

My husbands Flowers! Wisteria - Jeana

I do NOT have a green thumb, never claimed to, but my husband loves planting flowers and babying them....so I let him! I know Kendall did flower pics but this is the only thing I could find this color. I am not a "purple" person!

 I DO like the middle one with the morning sun shining on them!

I am excited to see what you all come up with...keep shooting!

Wisteria {Kendall}

Hello P64ers!  How is your search going for this week's color?  I am loving the Mac n' Cheese entries.

Here is my entry:

I got some fun little triptychs so I thought I would try one out.  I kind of like it.

Since it's summer and I am hoping some of you are leading a more leisure-like life, are you reading any good books?  I am always looking for something new.  I like random books... Water for Elephants, The Millenium Series, and Jodi Piccoult books.  I am currently reading A Stolen Life: A Memoir by Jaycee Dugard.  It is intense, painful, and fascinating.  It is so crazy that this outlandish story is actually true.  Jaycee Dugard is a survivor.  I am amazed by the grace she has shown.  I am halfway through the book and the one thing I can say to everyone, and I know you will agree, is you never know when you walk out the door if that will be the last time you say goodbye to your children, your spouse, your friend.  Be sure to let them know you love them.  Jaycee's mom left without kissing her goodbye on the morning of her abduction.  That moment was painful for each of them through the years she was missing. I am using that as a reminder to let my friends and family know that I love them.

Ok, that's enough of that!  If you have any book suggestions, send them my way.  I love to read and I am making myself take time to do it.

Happy Snapping!
Kendall

Color Reveal Week 29 {Brooke}

How is everyone doing?? Hope you all are still having fun hunting your colors! Today we are starting another month of colors and when we get to our last color this month we will officially be HALFWAY through the box!!  I also wanted to let you all know that after we pass the halfway mark we are going to change up things a little bit, starting week 33 we will reveal the week's color as normal on Monday's, however I am going to open the revealed color's linky the same day and leave Sunday's open for revealing winners and for announcements. However, for the next four weeks we will keep on doing it the same way, just giving a little heads up!

This week's color was HARD for me! I couldn't find it anywhere and in all my searching I forgot to take a crayon picture so there won't be one this week, but I made an alternative!

So since I couldn't find this week's color I gave up my search and decided to raid my sewing thread, I found what I was looking for, but I've done thread before...

But, wouldn't you know, just hours before I set down to do this post we were getting the boys ready for bed and my oldest was brushing his teeth....guess who's toothbrush matches this weeks color? Although the photo made it a little darker, in person it really is super close to this week's color....

Hope you have a better time finding this week's color: WISTERIA

Mac-N-Cheese Link Up, Week 28

We LOVED your SEA GREEN photos! I just wanted you all to know not to get discouraged by our lack of comments, for me blogger was giving me issues when I tried to comment on your blogs, but I did look at them and I love all the places you found SEA GREEN, it was probably one of my favorite colors because almost every single find was different, there wasn't three different types of flowers or several views of the sunset, but just fun unique color finds and great photos! Not only was SEA GREEN a fun color but you all are getting better and better in photo quality and creative eye each week, making it harder to pick a weekly favorite. If I was the only one voting, I would of had three favorites, but luckily there are six of us and one photo got the majority votes!

We loved this very unique find for SEA GREEN submitted by Artsybelle Images! I would definitely would of over looked the lights and their reflections and passed this over for SEA GREEN, good eye and lovely photo Bel!

Now are we hungry for some Macaroni and Cheese??? I now cheesy huh....there I go again ;)
