Wisteria
When I was a girl, I was very fortunate to have a mom who was a gardener. The very thought of the color "wisteria" not only brought back vivid memories of this beautiful flower but the fragrance it exuded. It always seemed that the bees really liked it too! I said all that to say that I chose not to shoot any wisteria flowers, they are everywhere here growing tall and covering arbors.
This is a very common sight here. The salons and barber shops wash their towels and hang them in the sun to dry. Right on the sidewalk! This salon happens to be in SultanAhmet.
This plate is a style of art that was used to depict important events. I am not sure how close the color is but I did think it was pretty neat. I am not sure what the egg thing is -- just to hold part of the story I guess.
Well, I can't say I did great this time but I do know that I am having fun!

always unusual photos from you, love them!
ReplyDeleteI especially like the towels; such wonderful soft colors.
When I first saw the towel photo, I laughed because I thought you put stuff in a tree to photograph! Lol!
ReplyDeleteHaha! I actually thought of that too! I really don't have to that sort of stuff here -- always someone to do it for me -- ie: a bikini hanging from my umbrella towels on the street!
