Goldenrod {Kendall}

Hello P64ers!  It's good to be back!  Thank you to all of our guest bloggers.  It was fun to have some different peeps fill in last week.

So this week is Goldenrod.  Looks a lot like yellow to me!

Summer is in full swing here.  No school, sleeping in, going to the lake, and playing outside.  Today, my boys and my husband went outside and painted a few canvases.  It just so happened that my oldest son's canvas has the perfect color of Goldenrod!

I really love this painting because I love splatters and abstract and anything my baby boys make.  This will go in their 'Man Cave'.

Last week we took a little three day mini-vacation and had a great time.  We went to this cool little pop shop on our way home.  They had all sorts of different soda.  I got some cool shots and this photo, even though it's orange soda, looks like Goldenrod on the top too.

I hope you all have a great week and have fun hunting for Goldenrod.  I love when colors show up in our every day lives when we least expect it!

  1. Love them both! Great finds!

  2. I love the "Man Cave" picture! Such a great idea! I am going to have to go to that "Pop Shop" -- it really be something!

  3. What a great painting! I love it, and I'm sure you do too! Little ones really let loose when they create, I love watching my daughter paint or color!

  5. love the riot of color on the canvas! Now, I need a cream soda...

  8. I love the canvas painting your son made! What a fabulous idea to do that and hang it! What a wonderful work of art that you will always have!
    I also love, love, love the soda bottles!! Very cool!

  9. The splatter masterpiece is fabulous! I really love the colors. I also really like the perspective on the bottles. Definitely Goldenrod!
